Customer Reviews
Imaginative and beautiful (2008-08-17) If you have no imagination, don't bother with this book. You probably won't like it. Personally, I loved it. The heroine comes across the place where lost things and people go; it's a wonderfully developed idea and I fell in love with Ahern's books as a result of this novel. She writes with succint and moving prose, her characters are well defined and fascinating. It's like a child's fairy tale for grown ups.
Confusing (2008-08-09) Enjoyed the book, but took ages to get into it and at some points I found myself confused as to what was happening!! Only really got into the book when I had figured out what was happening and nearer the end.
Thought Provoking (2008-08-06) This was one of the best books I have read in a long time. I can't believe the amount of people who didn't like it. It really keeps you guessing till the end and for anyone who has ever lost a loved one it begs the question "is there really life after death"?? Sometimes you really do have to think 'outside of the box'! Brilliant.
Random (2008-07-29) I generally like Celia Ahern's novels but I found this one a little too out of this world. I liked the idea behind it and was really interested in the story but the ending was. . .random. I thought that it was quite childish and not much thought had gone into it. Overall the book was alrite and if the ending was better I would have recommended it.
Dull and unreadable (2008-07-07) Having read PS I love you and liked it I could not get through this one. Her books have gone downhill. I read another one that was scripted totally in txts and letters and e-mails and you though it was written by a five year old. Totally mind numbing!!!
