Please, please, please release more! (And on DVD) (2005-01-06) The best thing on TV when I was a child! Even funnier as an adult. I think this is Tony Robinson's best input to comedy and one of the funniest comedies I know of, yet so under-rated. The characters are brilliant and it's all just so stupid yet so clever, I love it. It has such a universal appeal. I don't think childrens comedy will ever be this good again; it is equally funny as an adult comedy, if not more so. And there's nothing contemporary for adults that is both as innocent as this while also being funny. Oh please put the whole lot onto DVD!
Please, oh please, release more! (2004-05-12) I think this is a very neglected British comedy, possibly because the general public don't realise how subtle and cutting a "children's" show such as this can be. It's probably one of the slickest, best scripted, best acted and directed pieces of comedy to ever come out of the UK. Watching it again I find new humour that I couldn't have appeciated as a child. I do think that it should be put back on the airwaves, to remind the folks out there how good it really was, and then someone should definitely release more episodes on video and posssibly DVD. An absolute, side-splitting winner!
Top Notch & Much Underrated Kids TV of the eighties/ninties (2000-12-08) This is an excellent tape of an excellent series. The pure comedy took me back to my youth. Given time this programme will be appreciated as the classic that it is........
