My Financial Suite (2000-08-07)

I purchased the Microsoft 2000 for my PC which currently uses Microsoft Office for Small Businesses. It was very easy to set up & the introduction demonstrations / videos were excellent. Time taken to watch these was paramount in my easy learning of this package. The manual I considered was not well prepared and every item I wanted explaining I was unable to find. The online support was not helpful and was unable to provide an answer from the FAQ's. My serial number was continually rejected even though I had registered it online successfully. I still have one outstanding query in that back up can only be done to the A drive and I am unable to change the route to say the E drive. Of course I can save it to the C drive and then copy it to the E drive but this is time consuming. In the days of CDRW & Zip drives this seems short sighted by Microsoft in their planning. One useful tip is that when setting up accounts with previous transactions do not set them up as transfers until you reach the "live situation". This will allow easy balancing & reconciling to current files. Overall I consider the package very good and it is providing me with a financial system going well beyond my first expectations. I would recommend this to anyone needing to control their income & expenditure along with the facility to monitor ISA's, PEP's and a personal share portfolio. Easy to install. Good value for money. Good range of functions with the availability for lots of personal customisation.

Unfortunately, very reveling ! (2000-07-31)

It take's some time to set-up but once you have you may wish you hadn't ! This is a great tool to completely track your expenses and 'money flow'. Extremely easy to use and definitely make's you think about future planning and expense. One note though, if your like me and have a Natwest account (For my sins), even though it states it can connect to your web account and grab information, IT CAN'T.
