WOW! funky chicken! (2005-05-07)

The best little chicken egg cooker ever! bought this ages ago and never wrote the review. poor chicken! deserves a good review, cooks hard, soft and in between eggs perfect every time. So easy to use, turn it on and let it do its thing, gives a loud honking sound when eggs are done. MARVELLOUS!!!

Money Well Spent (2005-05-04)

I have always enjoyed boiled eggs and soldiers but I always seemed to waste at least 2 eggs trying to get them the right consistency - I always managed to over do them so they were hard boiled! Not anymore, the mini chicki egg boiler provides perfect soft boiled eggs eveytime and as an added bonus for those of us who are not keen on washing up the chicki egg boiler is a dream as it only requires minimal cleaning.

I purchased this item from Amazon over 6 months ago and it is used most weekends and I am now back to purchase another one for my friend. I am sure that if I added up all the time and eggs I have wasted in the past trying to get the perfect egg I can honestly say I have already had my money's worth - what a fantastic invention!

Eggsellent!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (2005-01-23)

We purchased our Petra EA44 Mini Chicki Egg Boiler two months ago (although we've since renamed him EGGbert!!).

We were amazed at the effiency with which Eggbert lays his perfectly boiled eggs - each and every morning. We simply 'feed' him with salt (which he then regurgitates over our boiled eggs), fill with water to the required depth, and fill his belly with the required quantity of eggs.

I am then free to prepare for the day ahead (for example, by preparing my briefcase) while Eggbert does his work. A few minutes later, and ping! Eggbert's ready - along with my eggs.

I've even managed to time my toaster to pop at the same time (although admittedly through trial and error)!

This is indeed an 'eggsiting', dare I say it, revolutionary, new product in the field of egg-cuisine. A must-have kitchen accessory.

Quick and easy (2005-01-21)

A quick and easy egg boiler, definitely a kitchen gadget, but one with a real, practical use for egg-lovers! Boils eggs quickly without any hassles, good if you are very rushed in the morning and don't have time to watch over a saucepan full of boiling water. The marked levels on the little measuring cup provided are rather inaccurate though, the first time I used them, my egg was overly hard boiled. You have to learn how much water to fill into the cup to suit your taste; the less water, the softer the egg. But after you've determined the correct levels, this makes a perfect egg every time. Makes a great gift.

A Miracle ! (2005-01-09)

I wanted this because it was cute, but then I saw the glowing reviews and have to agree with them ! Making a boiled egg is so much easier, within 2 tries I had the perfect amount of water to make my perfect egg every time !! I didn't put salt in the head because it would spill too easily, and annoyingly it buzzes when done, it should cluck !! I can't praise this product enough, it's always out of stock and I know why !
