This full size blender is the perfect kitchen accessory. It's powerful 500W motor also has variable speed so you really do have control when preparing food or dressings. The 1.5Ltr goblet has an easy pours spout, and a safety interlock to protect those prying children fingers. It's removable base makes cleaning easy so you won't have to worry about using it all the time. Other useful features include a lid cap with allows you to pour in oil while blending. There is also a Mill attachment included for a less fine chopping, and a sprinkler lid for decoration. This really is a compact, useful and versatile kitchen accessory. Ill-designed handle (2008-09-28)

The handle attachment is seriously flawed. It slots in from the top (which is just asking for trouble) and is secured by two small clips. These clips are liable to fail, leaving you holding the handle whilst the jug falls to the ground and breaks. This is simply due to bad design and it makes an otherwise decent blender not fit for purpose.

good for 1 month (2008-09-03)

This is a very good blender for certain things but mine broke after 1 month while blending 2 ice cubes into a smoothie. But i would still recommend it if your not gonna put ice in it.

A refund for my money (2008-04-07)

I bought this item from this seller and it was delivered on time but had my account of my money deducted thrice. I need my money but had not heard from them . hope to hear from them otherwise a 4 star will do

Trouble with spare parts! (2008-02-19)

This blender has been an excellent addition to my kitchen for the past 3 years and has had constant use for soups and smoothies. However, the blades have become blunt and unfortunately replacement blades are not available and I would have to buy a replacement cutting unit which has a cost of approximately £10. I have chosen to buy a new machine as I did not want to buy a new cutting unit and then have the motor wear out. It would in effect be cheaper to buy a new machine. It's sad because the blender was still in working order and I have had to bin it because of expensive replacement parts.

Cheap and cheerful but not very good (2008-01-05)

This blender may be ok if you only want to use it for smoothies but if you want to do range of things with it then I would choose something else.The blender works ok-ish, but frequently there will be one last lump which has not been liquidised.The spice grinder is not very effective, particularly on harder spices. Also the clear plastic jar became misted over within a couple of uses. This means that you cannot see how ground your spices are without taking it off and looking inside.Finally, the plastic seals on both the spice grinder and the blender have deteriorated rapidly (within a few months).You definitely get what you pay for with this blender. I wish I had spent a bit more money and got a more durable effective product.
