great buy (2006-09-17)

I bought this camera over three years ago particularly for photgraphing items for my online auctions (you know the site) and it has been great.You may need a bigger cf card for storage but batteries last well as long as you use alkaline.I was most impressed by the movie function which I did not think I would use, I have not had to buy an additional movie camera because the movie function is fine if all you shoot are short sequences (3mins max).You may think you need a higher quality/more expensive camera but you probably dont, most of us point and shoot which is what this camera does. However there are also a host of features like macro, movies, choice over quality etc.I bought this camera from Amazon because of the recommendations and suggest you do the same, you do not need to spend more than this.

Great first digital camera (2006-02-15)

I bought this camera 2 years ago and I have been really impressed with it. It is an ideal camera for starting out with digital photography - easy to use and plenty of different functions if you want to try a few differenmmt shots. The video function is good and the picture quality is also good for printing out holiday sized photos(anything up to A4 size). It is a bit bigger that many of the cameras now out but it is by no means bulky - I bought a good 'Crumpler' camera case which made it easy to carry around when on holiday.

Great Pictures, Everytime (2005-01-06)

This is a great 2mp camera that will deliver great quality pictures all time. I have recently upgraded to the canon ixus 500 but only because i required larger prints. This is ideal for the beginner in digital photography as it is so easy and simple to operate but also has enough features to keep the more serious photograpers happy. In the 3 years i've had my camera i really can't fault it in any way. If your looking for great photo's at a great price i highly recommend the canon A60.

What Value for Money (2005-01-05)

I have no experience of digital cameras and asked around and read reviews. I read a review of this camera(outstanding introduction to digital cameras and with something even to keep the more serious users happy)I decided to search for this camera. I found it on Amazon at under 100 pound. I was not disappointed when I received it and was like a kid in a candy store. This camera is so easy to use. It is light weight. The software that comes with it makes it easy to develop and store your own photos. The list is endless with regards to this camera. I would highly recommend this camera to anyone just starting out. In my view this is the best value for money digital camera on the market.
