Tacky,can't be real wood rip off. (2008-03-01)

These are a rip off.They look like plastic stuck onto cork.If you are looking for real, natural and rustic wood place mats,as we were, DO NOT buy these.They are rubbish.I shall be endevouring to return these on account of them not being what they said they where in the product desciption.

Not wood, not olive? (2007-12-14)

I bought these recently expecting an item made of olive wood. At best they are an extremely thin veneer of olive wood stuck unattractively on a slightly larger chipboard style mat.At worst, that's no veneer, that's a photograph - the mats are identical to the naked eye and look the same as the small picture given on Amazon for this item.Tacky, over-priced, rubbish. Don't even consider it.
