Great little filter (2008-01-23)

I've used this filter in my tank for quite a number of years now and have had no problems with it whatsoever. It works great and is easy to maintain. With it being such a popular choice, there is never any trouble getting filter media for it when needed. I'll definitely continue to use these filters for all my smaller tanks.

Never felt the need to use anything else (2007-12-28)

I've used these filters in various aquariums over a number of years and have always found them easy to use and effective. They are silent in operation, very easy to clean and generally low maintenance to use. Pick the right size one for you tank and you really cannot go wrong. Fact is I cannot give you a comparison with other internal filters. I have been so pleased with the fluvals that I have never used anything else, and I have been keeping fish for several years.
