Very easy to use. Does exactly what it says on the box. (2008-03-16)

I use this to humidify the air as I live in a top floor flat and the air gets very dry with the central heating on, which makes my sinitus/congestion worse. The unit is very simple and easy to use - remove the plastic tank, fill it with water and plug it in. Steam comes out of it very quickly and it will noticeably add a good amount of moisture to a room within minutes. The unit has a water filter inside the tank to help prevent the heating element developing limescale which is a nice touch. If I did have some (constructive) criticism for the manufacturers of this unit, there is no variable setting - its either on or off with no setting in between. It would also be useful to have a "timer" setting, but I suppose to can buy a mains plug timer for that. Other than that, I'm very satisfied. Does the job that it was intended for, and it does it well.

Great Customer Service (2005-02-23)

This product is very good; it's been particularly great when my son has had croup. Even more impressive was Amazon's Customer Service. I had a problem with this product and Amazon were more than helpful. They imediately sent a replacement and I then had to return the original in 30 days to a freepost address. They were extremely helpful and courteous and because of this I will be using them again, probably frequently. It is very reassuring to know that a product will be exchanged so quickly and efficiently.

We are very happy with this product, we use it mainly when our small baby is sick with a cold and it really helps her breathing over night and her nose it not too blocked when using the humidifier a few hours while she sleeps.Would be nice if it had an option not to do just warm but also cold mist. Still a good and useful product.

I got this humidifier for my 1 year old who has had a number of coughs and colds this winter. This humidifier worked really well for about 2 weeks then it stopped working completely. The humidifer worked really well when it did work and helped the baby breathe at night which was the goal. So, I returned the unit and was happily given another one in exchange.
