THIS PRODUCT DOES NOT WORK (2008-04-23)

This blender will not even blend banana or any other soft fruit. DO NOT BUY THIS if you want to blend anything, because it does not work. This is going straight back to the supplier, I will be asking for a full refund.

How bad can a blender be? (2008-04-09)

This liquidiser/mill would have to take the prize for the most disappointing piece of kitchen equipment that has ever entered my house. I bought it on the basis of the reviews on Amazon but begin to wonder whether I have a different model. I have been without a blender for over a year and am not 100% sure what make my previous one was (either Toshiba or Kenwood) but it knocked spots off this charlatan. The Moulinex liquidiser seems to need regular shakes to get lumps to the bottom yet still manages to refuse to do what it is supposed to. What is even worse is the mill. This may as well not have been included. I used my previous one to mill spices and crush chopped onions, garlic and ginger to make a paste; perfect every time. The Moulinex won't crush anything, sends bits of ginger and garlic round and round without doing anything to them and has an unsatisfactory and inefficient way of locking together. All in all the worst kitchen item I have ever bought.

Superb Item (2008-04-02)

I'm really surprised that some people have had a bad experience with this. I bought mine a year or two ago to replace a previous model which I'd had for 20+ years and had finally given up the ghost. I hunted high and low for a reasonably priced combination mill/blender, finding only expensive 'smoothie makers' and separate coffee mills before coming across this. I use it everyday to make my morning smoothie and it is great. I don't get any lumps or pieces of fruit left in the bottom. The mill is useful - I especially use it to turn granulated sugar into caster sugar for baking, which saves loads of money. It is easy to clean needing just a quick rinse.

very bad experience (2008-03-28)

brought this product around 8 months back and now it gives me some amazing fire works. when ever i switch on it, sparks come up under the blender. don't know the reason why but it does it. the other reason that i am disappointed that within few months of purchase one of the blenders blades were burnt because of the heat that it produces. so right now i am looking out for another blender that would'nt give me any fire works.

Wish there was a Replacement Jug (2008-03-21)

I bought this blender because my mum had it for about 3 years, and it does blend quite smoothly - until it started leaking. I've used mine for about 4 years now, and it developed exactly the same problem my mum's did - the leaking jug! I use it about 2 times a week, so I'm really surprised at people that use it on a daily basis for 10 years!The most unfortunate thing is that Moulinex does not offer replacement parts - the motor base and mill are still working wonderfully... but I need the liquidiser jug!
