A future classic! (2005-02-24)

I was straight down the record shop when this was released and i was not disappointed at all. Fresh and Adam F must be commended on the way they have ran Breakbeat Kaos as many labels take quite a while at releasing compilations. This album will no doubt be hailed a classic as it already is. This album caters for the dancefloor hungry ravers right down to the Fabio style melodic moments. Every single track is amazing and my personal fave is Kingston Vampires as it is just HEAVEY!! Check this album out if you like drum and bass, no questions!

'The Drum and Base soldier' (2005-02-05)

The notorious drum and base genius Adam F, the creator of entwining the gangsta culture of rap within the company of fast, enthralling and outsized base movements, has yet again taken Britain by storm, along with his partner in crime, the recently nominated 'best producer of 2004', DJ Fresh!The recent album, 'Junglesound Vol.2', encapsulates all Adam F's intentions, with the inclusion of MC MC on the first side of the album, his timing is perfect, making the hype and intensity of the unleahing of base lines (which the insertion of classic and contemporary tunes certainly hold, with the likes of Future Prophecies, Baron and even Fresh himself) mind blowing, to such an extent that one is made to stop and simply consider the endless percussion talent, and superlative mixing abilities which have been horded together onto just one admirable vynal. Pendulum is a breath of 'fresh' air, the beats drive in at high speed and exit even faster, they're clean cut and comprise of base lines of a more traditional approach, but it is clearly evident that they have not neglected the requirements of the 21st century. I would especially recommend 'Voyager' as the best and most engrossing, gripping, absorbing, riveting...flavour of the album. Selon moi, its a definite purchase!

DONT HAVE MCS ON A STUDIO MIX! (2005-02-04)

I bought this CD cause i wanted a more accessible version of masochist and dreadlock other than on vinyl. The first CD i was very pleased with. However they've made the mistake they made with breakbeat kaos (GQ remember?) and put MCMC, who is usually very good, and darrison on the pendulum mix CD. It sounds like they've been added on top. The track Another planet, which is a classic tune, has been wrecked by darrison's La La La's. That really annoyed me!

Worthwhile purchase as the first CD is, as expected, really good

Pendulum in the mix (2004-09-11)

Twelve months ago two of the UK's biggest urban underground DJ producers (namely the legendary Adam F and the 2004 Knowledge Award winning 'Best Producer' DJ Fresh) decided to fuse their comparable talents in the form of a record label Breakbeat Kaos. Their mission was to produce and release next level music, music that's made to be enjoyed, rewound and played on the fattest sound systems the world has to offer.
