BEWARE (2008-09-04)

We got our Panasonic microwave about 18 months ago as a replacement for an ancient Panasonic combi that had served us very well. It soon became clear that it was a pale imitation of its predecesor.Its functions were less flexible, we were especially disapointed with the defrost functions, (bread for example didn't defrost as evenly as before).The oven burnt the tops of things such as joints or sponge cakes.It was difficult to keep the inside clean. You may notice that I refer to it in the past tense. 7 months ago it went bang! So I can add only a 13 month life span to my list of complaints. DON'T BUY THIS PRODUCT, there are many others on the market, often at a more reasonable price.

Brilliant product, shame about panasonic (2008-07-24)

i have owned and used this microwave daily, i do cook, but its so useful, after 8 months it has broken and panasonic are a pain when it comes to a problem with their goods. i highly recommend the microwave, bought through amazon you do have extra back up and they will provide replacement once you have reference no. from panasonic, just keep all of your receipts and details...blah blah

Great Product - Shame About The Delivery (2008-04-27)

Along with other customers here, the product seems really good but it did not arrive on time despite paying extra for guaranteed delivery on a Saturday, and then it was delivered damaged with a dent in the side panel. I had to take it in the back of my car to work for it to be collected there (collections only Mon-Fri), then had to take a day off to be at home for the re-delivery - all unnecessary when so many customers have lodged complaints about the couriers with Amazon.

Damaged goods (2008-02-12)

It looks like amazon have a problem with there delivery courier as this was delivered so badly that the polistyrene (sic) was as damaged as the microwave, either a previous return resent or someone had a look and decided they didn't fancy it, but it had definately been opened previously.Suggest that anyone ordering a microwave, however good it might be, either takes the risk or goes somewhere inspects it and picks it themselves.

When choosing your next combination microwave , this has to be just about the best one you can get.Panasonic was always one my top makes I was considering , and this model certainly doesn`t dissapoint. As usual , Panasonic have managed to combine excellent build quality with adorable asthetics.The finish is lovely and smooth and the buttons and display are clear and really easy to use and read. The manual supplied is also really clear and easy to follow , with some recipies to try out as well.Inside , the oven space is simply enormous , unlike the many others I looked at.The grill cooks things lovely and fast , but then also cools down again very quickly after use. There are some really usefull features built in including several timer and power settings. The grill also has three settings to choose from.Everything I have put in it so far has come out done to perfection.You could pay much less for a simple basic microwave , but this has so much to offer in terms of reliability and versatility.
