Poor capacity (2008-09-24)

Not a cheap shredder, but doesn't take the five sheets it says it should and keeps jamming unfortunately - defeats the object of it really, I couldn't recommend it at all!

A Good Little Shredder (2008-07-10)

Received the shredder and had shred all of the secure rubbish collected over months in 1 hour! Happier shredding 3 sheets only at a time, doesn't like sticky labels (do any of us!) and is on the noisy side. Best of all the shreds are now resting happily in my compost bin. Probably best kept for home usage only but all in all a brilliant shredder for the money.

A Good Home Shredder (2008-03-19)

Compact, robust home shredder that is excellent value for money.It shreds 3 or 4 sheets at a time without a problem.Do bear in mind that it is not a continuously rated office shredder; so don't overload it.I used it to clear a large backlog of bank statements etc. I used it on a "5 minutes on, 10 minutes off" basis and it was perfect. No overheating or burning smell or anything.

A great shredder, but.. (2007-02-28)

This is an excellent purchase for a small business or a busy home worker who doesn't have the time, or perhaps manual dexterity to tear paper with their bare hands. Maybe you suffer from arthritis, or have a casual addiction to online video games and have lost most of the function of your arms. No problem - that's what this little baby's there for. Been sent unsolicited mail? That's cool - wreak your passive revenge, safe in the knowlege that noone will be able to decipher their unwanted advertisements.Word of warning: Be careful what you put through. Once an item is shredded, the process can't be undone. My gynaecology appointment notice met a messy end. Then I put it through the shredder by accident, and now I don't know what to do. Show caution around this device.

Superb home shredder (2006-08-12)

This really is an excellent value for money buy for use in the home or small office, it's small enough to store away & it copes really well as long as you don't try & put more than 5 sheets through at once. The window on the front is a good idea so you can see how full the bin is. It's very secure for shredding personal documents & you can't tell what any documents were after shredding. It does get quite warm though after 10-15 minutes continuous use so i would recommend letting it cool down after 10 minutes use.
