Fantastic! (2007-08-07)

An easy way to catalogue and review your photos, get them on the web - all in a non-techie way, you don't need to be a geek to use it.However, an update is long overdue, and even imminent (or so it's rumoured), so it might be best to wait just a little longer.

Just perfect (2007-07-04)

I have recently aquired iLife and along with iWorks replaces a number of products I was previously using including Office XP. All I can say is that the software is so much better than any Microsoft product I have used. Less features overall but all the ones you reaqlly needs brilliantly put together and perfect for the kids. Try it and you won't want to go back. Only one point - iWorks has no equivalent of Excel.

A real acomplishmet for the people at Apple. (2007-05-31)

I have had my mac for about 3 months now and I love iLife. Its worth mentioning though that most new Macs are shipped with iLife. CHECK YOUR 10.4 (TIGER) CD1 to see if it is on there before buying.iPhoto, extremely useful for all my photos. They are neatly organised and very easy to find. The one criticism I have is the way that the photos are stored in the file structure. I have over 400 "rolls" now so If I want to get to the images without opening iPhoto it is rediculously difficult.iMovie HD is essential to me. I can make home videos at the touch of the button, it is very simple. And ten minutes later I can make a proffesional video for corporate use! The compatability is what makes this piece of software so addictive.I haven't tried iWeb as I have heard that it is quite limited. I am going to stick with Dreamweaver.

Unbeatable (2007-04-11)

The iLife suite really is unbeatable value for money and certainly has no equal on Windows.iPhoto, iMovie HD and iDVD are my favourites and contrary to what a previous reviewer says iDVD does not require an Intel chip so you can use it with an older PPC based Mac. iDVD 06 also works with external DVD burners whereas older versions didn't without some tinkering.iLife is ideal for personal use but with little effort you can achieve surprisingly professional results.I look forward to the forthcoming iLife 07.

Amazing (2007-02-18)

ilife is an incredible piece of software. If you haven;t got '06, get it NOW.It is well worth the money, possibly even undervalued. Garageband is easy to use and at a professional level- the instruments are great. iweb is also easy to use, and iphoto and iMovie are brill too. However, you need an intel chip to use iDVD.
