Great card... great price (2008-07-04)

Firstly, I would say that this card is great. It affords me almost 1000 10.2 mp images - which is more than I would consider shaking a stick at. It came with a little zipped pouch for storing 2 cards and rescue software on a mini cd - as other reviewers have stated. However, IT DID NOT COME WITH A CARD READER, as some reviews suggest. Either the offer has altered, or the reviewers are mistaken, or I've been sold a kipper and been told it's a salmon.Don't get me wrong, it's still a great price, and it's the card I was primarily buying (hence 5 stars), but now I need to go and buy a reader, which I didn't 'cause I thought there was one included. Erm, DOH, I believe is the appropriate Homerism.

Best card out there (2008-06-25)

Top Quality as I have a new Olympus X520 & without being in raw format is fine mode I get 766 photos the detail & quality from this card can not be matched.This is the works!!!Buy it.

I bought this at a very good price £16 after reading other customer reviews.I also have the 2GB SanDisk CF card as a back up, when out photographing with my Canon 400D. This card have a fast data download and even comes with a zip up pouch to protect up to two CF cards. Excellent purchase at a good price...Even comes with a rescue disc........Delivery was one day with Amazon Prime Delivery ( which i haven't regreted signing up for, saved a small fortune in delivery costs in just two weeks.)

Sandisk Extreme III Compact Flash (2008-06-12)

These are excellent cards - Why would anyone want to put all their eggs in one basket (one 8gb card) and risk that card going faulty when you can easily swap cards and use 2 cheap 4Gb cards and half the risk of loosing all shots from a session if disaster strikes (its a bad deal if both cards go faulty together). In addition 2 x 4Gb cards are significantly cheaper than 1 x 8Gb card.I bought a 4Gb Sandisk Extreme IV card a while ago and paid over £70 for it - to be honest i cannot tell the difference in write times when shooting burst mode on a Nikon D300 between the Extreme IV and the Extreme III, the same can be said for downloading the images to my iMac, no noticable difference in speed.My cards came in their full retail packaging and included the Sandisk Rescue Pro software which can help recover deleted files from a drive. I have previously used this on a PC to recover deleted data files and it worked great. Unfortunately the 8cm disc supplied will not play in an iMac so you would need to be able to copy to a full size CD to be able to use.These cards at the present prices (June 08) cannot be beaten ....

fantasic !! great price , great compactflash , got this for my new olympus E510 , i take lots of photos so this compactflash will suit me fine , i also bought a olympus xd card as well , double memory now and lots more super photos .. thanku sandisk & amazon ..see u ..
