Customer Reviews
Good toy - if you have a neverending supply of batteries! (2008-07-09) We received this toy as a gift for my son for Christmas. He only really started paying it any attention recently (he's now almost 2) as he can mimick the actions and sounds. One downside of this toy is that each leg of Tigger takes 3 AA batteries - and the 6 batteries required in total don't last long! We have found after the first set of batteries we've never bothered replacing them as our son has more favoured toys that we'd rather invest 'battery money' in! I think the adults were more entertained by this toy at Xmas than our toddler to be honest.
Tigger (2008-07-07) I've had 2 of these now and both have just stopped working after a couple of months. Great fun when it works but not very durable.
Fun for two minutes - then irritating (2008-02-29) My baby son was bought this by his grandparents for Christmas. It was quite amusing for a few minutes. The older kids laughed at it tumbling. But then it kept falling over and getting stuck. After an hour or two it gave up the ghost. We didn't get a replacement, but swapped it for a toy garage, which is still being played with.I would say for the money, it's an expensive two minute wonder.
this toy is faulty (2007-11-11) my boyfriend bought our daughter this and she absolutly loved it she was 14 months old when we bought it and everytime she sees it she points and moans untill i put it on, but recently he stopped working so we changed the batteries but nothing happend!!!! this is such a dissapointment because we only had it less than two months, now when she sees it she points and puts it on my knee and i have to try and explain that he is poorly! i am hoping that it will work again one day but i am not going to hold my breath
Impressive - but only for a few minutes! (2007-11-07) This was one of those toys I was really looking forward to seeing at Christmas, and I thought my little girl would love it. However, the truth is that watching Tigger perform his headstands is highly amusing for the first few times, but it eventually wears a bit thin. Everyone we have shown this toy to has been initially really impressed with it, and then once you realise that there's very little play value - it tends to get left. Also - it's not flawless, and on an annoyingly regular basis it falls on it's side and shakes with the strain of trying to do it's pre-programmed moves whilst not in the correct position. Watching Tigger have a fit isn't really what I expected when I bought this toy!The sounds are good, the voice and music isn't tinny and inaudible, it's one of the best sounding kids toys I've heard. It seems pretty well built too and is nice and bright. In a nutshell - it looks good and sounds good, but I don't think that there's hours of entertainment to be had.
