Utterly gripping - genuine reality TV (2007-08-29)

At last! a documentary in which the real-life people are just that - people doing their job and not being 'personalities' for the camera. This show demonstrates great filming (how the *!* did they do it??), great leadership and very brave men and women on the Bering Sea. It's just about the only show I make an effort to watch 'live', and at last it's come to the UK on Ch4 too!Great for watching whilst huddled up indoors with a mug of hot chocolate: makes you realise how your own job is not really that taxing after all...

Worth staying in for! (2007-08-27)

This is only the second programme that I have made a point of staying in for. I will not miss a single episode as it takes you away from your ordinary life and your job to the high seas where you live each high wave and every second of danger with the men on board. It is addictive and leaves you feeling glad that you are safe at home and do not have to spend one minute let alone 5 days at sea with the ferocious waves and threat of losing your life. Watch it and you will always be grateful for your peaceful home!

The best (2007-07-27)

Not the type of tv show a 15 year old girl should be into really. But with 40 foot waves, freezing cold temperatures and almost always 100% injury rate the Deadliest Catch series has taken me personally be heart. If you enjoy eating crab, then i suggest you buy now and see how much it takes to put it on your plate. The best TV show out there.

NOT YOUR AVERAGE WATCH (2007-06-24)

ok, ill be the first to admit that i though this wassomething completely differnt when i saw it on the tv listings. I mean, how interesting can a show about fishermen be!!! Prepare to be amazed by an entertaining look at the drama behind crab fishing. sounds boring i know, but trust me , its really addictive!!
