Only for the Die Hard Player (2008-03-25)

Great fun to play but only if you already have some basic musical ability, a good ear for music or can already play guitar. Otherwise give this one a miss in favour of The New Guitar Hero On Tour (for DS) that's due out June 08

Define 'Jam'.. (2008-01-08)

I bought the game with the belief that you would be playing guitar along to recognisable music tracks as well as being able to create your own.I was disappointed to find that the majority of song tracks were in Spanish, and of those that weren't, only a couple were recognisible.Also I presumed there'd be a backing track to play along with, instead you're expected to play it solo, and this makes some of the tracks confusing as you're not always sure where you're meant to be in the tune.When you play the tunes you're not graded on how well you've done, in fact you could make a complete mess of it and still get the 'congratulations' screen at the end.There are many ways this could have been done better, and was a bit of a let down. I'll be trading it in soon.

This is no "Guitar Hero" - It's a real instrument ! (2007-12-01)

This is not "Guitar Hero" on a DS. In fact this is not even a game. There might be a few songs to play along with (not that you'll ever have heard of most of them) but this section of the package is light-weight and poorly implemented.No this is a real instrument! It might sound a bit quiet - but connect it up to a real amp, get a few songs with the chords written out, and you'll be playing along like a real Guitar Hero.Effects like Distortion and Phasing are hidden away in there for different sounds.Not convinced? Just search on YouTube for videos of people playing this thing at live gigs!

60seconds is a Jam Session??? (2007-10-08)

Just got this game on the understanding that you can record yourself playing and recording your own material.....seem that your compositions can only last 60 seconds and the volume is poor against other guitars, Item will be in ebay VERY soon.
