This game is average has some good and bad points, get the game if you like simpsons

Fun, but too short and hardly next-gen (2008-03-27)

Let me be blunt - this is not really a PS3 game; it's a PS2 game with better resolution. This shows up particularly when you swap characters in the main Springfield hub, the whole level reloads and does so off the disc. The hard-drive remains untouched seemingly even for caching of the current level and so you sit twiddling your thumbs watching the loading screen. It really puts you off changing characters or restarting a level.The camera too can be problematic, swinging around mid-jump or resetting itself while you're manipulating it and trying to move at the same time.But for all its faults it's still fun; the between level movies retain the humour of the show and the in-game comments don't become too repetitive. It's just fun roaming around these levels, with only the occasional frustration of trying to get from A to B when the camera changes or you're not exactly sure which way you're going to be moving.Still the main game is too short, even with hunting down the optional extras and playing the time challenges. Once you've finished it and unlocked all the content just treat it as something to dip in and out of and you won't be that disappointed.

Too easy (2008-02-28)

Its a great game and really fun but... It is sooo easy to complete and there are only 16 levels. I completed it in about nine days only playing about 1 hour a day !!!

GREAT FUN! (2008-01-01)

I thought the simpsons game was absolutely brilliant! it had great graphics, storylines, jokes, clips, episodes and even collectables with comic book guys cliches. It took the mickey out of other video games and in doing so created a great video game. It addictive and i couldnt stop playing it. The powers are great as well with Bartman, Robobart, Lisas saxophone and hand of bhudda, Marge rioting against grand theft scratchy, Mayor quimbys bribe, the tree cutters, the natural history musuem, the eating contest, alien invasion and the parralel video game world. It features all the characthers you could think of and the chance to go out and explore Springfield it has everything a tv show, movie and video game should have crammed into one full box of endless laughter and entertainment. Well done Simpsons gang you have done it again with your wonderfully weird inventions such as super burp and homer ball! well done.
