Like a hot knife through butter (2008-07-13)

So as I bought the one+ pruner (that's an electric saw on a stick to you) and was amazed at how fast I tamed the hawthorn hedge (which I'd left to nature to save the local birds from the neighbourhood moggies), I got to thinking....... Now that I've done that job so quickly I really need something to cut the tangly branches into manageable sections- so that I can load the bonfire more quickly when all the branches have dried out. It's a heavier beast than the pole pruner. However it does seem to work a little better on the Ni-Cad batteries so maybe the internal motor is more carefully designed. Ryobi one + system strikes again.
