Amazon.co.uk Review
Namco (or Namco Bandai as they’re now known, after their merger) have long been one of the PlayStation’s most ardent supporters, with many of their key series such as Ridge Racer, Tekken and Ace Combat being synonymous with Sony’s consoles even when they do appear on other formats. Time Crisis is another classic series to be added to the list and while the original arcade version has been out for a while now, like previous home console adaptations this adds a whole raft of new features on top of it. As a start though all the levels from the coin-op are here, with the same wide range of different weapons to use - from machine guns to shotguns and rocket launchers.
Also featured is an evolution of the feature in PS one only game Time Crisis: Project Titan, which expands the series’ signature duck and cover feature to allow you to switch hiding places in certain situations. Because older lightguns don’t work on modern television Time Crisis 4 comes bundled with the all new GunCon 3 controller, which uses two infrared LED markers placed on either side of your television. Working in a similar manner to the Wii this ensures compatibility with any kind of television as well as the utmost accuracy. The GunCon 3 also features an analogue stick so that you can control the game in five new first person shoot ‘em-up levels which are interspersed amongst the original levels and make this the most innovative entry in the series yet.

SHOOT EM UP!!! (2008-07-22) Apart from the stressfull task of seting it up this game is very good,i found myself stuck on an arcade mode stage but was still enjoying myself loads.if you just want to have fun get this game. 9/10
Reason for terrible gun colour (2008-06-09) just to shut people up about them mentioning about the colour of the gun. the reason it is like this is because of the new gun laws.fake guns now have to be painted in bright colours, and cannot be detailed, making sure no one thinks it's a real gun. (even though it has wires on it lol)this includes for replica and air soft guns also.
Great Customer Service (2008-05-01) Haven't played the game so haven't got a clue :-s!Just wanted to thank the seller though, my dopey friend changed his mind and I was able to cancel my order and get a refund promptly! Was worried but now I know I can buy in confidence! Great service keep it up :-)!
Why Namco Why??????? (2008-04-30) The game itself is a good game, nice graphics and gameplay is ok, and I am not too bothered about the Gun having a wire hanging from it as that is how it has always been and even in the Arcade you have a wire hanging from the gun. The Gun is very bulky and awkward to play with. What's disappointing is that Namco are not selling the GCON 3 without the game, so if you want to play two players you need to either buy another copy of the game or borrow a friends gun. If your gun goes faulty, you have to buy the game again. As Sony have said, PS3 is mainly designed to promote Blue Ray, and it seems they care very little for the dedicated gamers who have stood by them, and Namco should be ashamed. The game on its own would have got a 4 star, but due to the awkward gun and for the fact they don't sell the gun on its own, the entire package drops to a 2 star experience for me.Now for the further rant.GTA 4 has loads of extra content coming in August for Xbox users as Microsoft spent millions to get their customers this, while Sony are saying their fans will buy GTA on the Sony because they love Sony. GTA was ready for the Xbox in Nov 2007 and was only delayed because the programming on PS3 had complications, so why doesn't Sony compensate us for our patients?Final Fantasy is Sony's last chance, if they muck that up I'm selling my PS3.
Classic Time Crisis with a cool idea (2008-04-24) You either love or hate Time Crisis. I've loved playing them in the arcades for years but this is the first one i've bought and although the price seems a little steep for the content in the game, it's still worth the money.First little annoyance, you only get one gun and as far as i know the G-Cons aren't available to buy on their own yet. Second, the new G-Con is a little funny looking and the buttons aren't best layed out for the FPS mode, but i'll get to that later. There's not really a lot in the game, but it has a few modes to get through. The classic arcade mode that you see in the arcades, some mini-games that reminded me of Point Blank and my favourite, the FPS Mode. Now, although it feels a little clumsy i applaud them for the idea. You use the two analogue sticks on the G-Con to move about like you would on every console FPS, but you can still shoot anywhere in your field of view with the G-Con so you aren't limited to what's in your crosshair. But because of the positioning of the sticks on the gun it sometimes gets a little awkward, if the section of the gun with A1 and A2 buttons on it was detachable it would make it easier. But none the less, it's an interesting idea and i enjoyed playing it.Overall, pretty chuffed with what i got. I can play Time Crisis without putting money in the machine. The only downside is you'll need to get a mate to buy their own copy to get another gun if you want 2 Player.
