Manufacturer's Description

Smarty Pants finally levels the playing field for people of all ages, allowing simultaneous play using age-targeted trivia plus action based gestures, making it a truly transgenerational game made exclusively for the Wiiâ„¢. Tailoring questions to the contestant's age, gamers from eight to eighty can join in on the fun all at the same time. Every player's answer is tracked, and the game automatically adjusts the difficulty level to provide continuous stimulation and interactive challenges that are age appropriate. Exciting Wii gestures make everything a game, from spinning the category wheel and tug-of-wars over correct answers, to "dance-offs" for additional points.

Great fun (2008-07-18)

I know there are a lot of reviews on here saying that this game is boring and rubbish, well I didn't find that at all. Sure the one player mode may get boring after a while but whenever did find a quiz game that was fun to play just by yourself. I got this game yesterday and have played it at least three times with my boyfriend, some of the modes are better than others, but we found very entertaining and the question certainly weren't too easy and were very up to date.
how does this work/ (2008-06-29)

have got smarty pants for kids and us adults to use - however when we try and access friends mode so we can all play we get told we do not have enough wii remotes?!!? however there is nowhere to activate the second or third or fourth wii remote - HELP B4 it goes flying out window!
Great quiz game (2008-06-04)

If you love Trivial Pursuit, you'll love this! It's basically a quiz game, and if you don't expect anything more from it than that, then you certainly won't be disapponted.
Great Family Fun (2008-04-03)

I bought this game with the idea it would entertain the whole family, and what a good buy! From my the 10 year old to the 50 year old (and many in between) in our house it keeps us all laughing and enjoying ourselves.I do agree if you only have one remote it's a bit useless as i didnt enjoy the single modes as much, but the multiplayer is amazing. It allows for all of the players ages to be taken into consideration when picking questions, so gives us younger players a better shot, especially good for entertaining the kids, as they can interact much better, unlike the likes of Buzz for ps2 which has preset questions they find hard to undertand and answer.I'm giving it a 5/5 for good family fun but do understand it isn't quite up there with some off the other games for 1player fun.
Limited appeal (2008-03-16)

A bit disappointing. You can't use your mii in solo mode, and friends mode requires a wii remote for each person (we only have one). So that leaves us with family mode, which is ok for 'co-operative play', but means my six year old can't 'spin the wheel' to choose a category as illustrated on the box. Then the frustration is very UK centric questions - can a five year old name a tudor monarch? - and the fact that we have to swap the remote between players, against the clock, despite the fact that we encourage the kids to use the wii remote's wrist strap!seriously, this would be much better if you have a remote each. but we're in no hurry to buy more remotes for this.
