Product Description

Designed for new mobile phone users, this is a very easy to use phone. To help bridge literacy gaps, the MOTOFONE F3 offers a redesigned user interface with innovative voice prompts in local languages to guide the user quickly and easily through menu navigation, messaging, and other functions. In addition, graphical icons visually illustrate the phones features as well as network status and battery strength. Surprisingly thin and easy to carry, the MOTOFONE features a revolutionary ClearVision Display (CVD) that leverages Electrophoretic Display (EPD) technology to provide users with a large, high-contrast screen viewable even in bright sunlight. The ClearVision Display combined with a flush-fitting keypad and dust-resistant design makes the MOTOFONE durable in active everyday use. And it sounds great too with polyphonic ringtones, speakerphone, and powerful volume communication is loud and clear.

Motorola F3 Mobile Phone - BlackWe purchased this to replace a 9-year old Nokia as it seemed to fit the bill for JUST A PHONE! It is ideal for us 2 'over sixties'! Easy to set up, great legible readout, a piece of cake to use and, as we don't text, it suits us perfectly. What more can we say - 10 out of 10!
dont buy this phone (2008-08-12)

|This is a terrible phone and not really worth 19.99.Make two phone calls and you lose charge.Retreiving texts and reading them is a nightmare, the text is too big. The ring tones are not loud enough.
funny! (2008-07-21)

Okay, so i'm a Student living on a Student budget, my old phone broke - so i needed to buy a cheap phone that did the basics - thats what i got and a little less..The thing is if you want to buy a 'calculator' that can text and call go for it i use that term lightly, it doesn't have a calculator, just looks like a basic LCD calculator displayContacts - it reshuffles original contacts on your phone (mine was sim free)So some show up and some don't and everything revolves around scrolling across.Calling is simple, if you have around 20 friends its perfectly fine - find, scroll and press the big green button if you have around a 100 they clearly will not show up, the funny thing was when i went to add more contacts random ones did appear. Texting is where it really utterly fails - your text goes across the screen, not down and there is no way to backtrack it, say if you've made a mistake or forgot what you're texting so you have to start all over. This is perfectly fine if you are hard of seeing because of the massive display but as an everyday phone its not worth the price put on it.Other than that, it has an alarm, and you're able to set 7 different types of monotone, none actually that different just more annoying for the average person. The best function in my opinion is the voice menu, when you select a different option a friendly oriental voice tells you what you have selected - quite funny for drunken parties and when starting the phone from scratch it allows you to change the language.
My favorite phone.... Ever! (2008-07-06)

I bought this a Lidl in France for 18 euros. I hardly ever text and hate complicated, music playing, multi ring tone, camera phones. This phone has done exactly what I want it to do which is more than any other phone I have owned. When I've walked on it and driven over it a few more times, I'll get another one and maybe get one for the future.
