Gets rid of smells/toxins...replaces them with its own. (2008-10-14)

First and foremost let me state this; it probably DOES do what it says, probably great at that. There's a problem though. Design flaw or just cheapness? Yes, a design flaw brought on BY cheapness. They skimpt on the outer layer and bit where the sterilised hot air comes out by making it out of plastic, and the plastic top heats up creating a hot/burning plastic smell, which wafts around. Now, I don't know about anyone else, but the smell of constant hot plastic is WORSE than the stuff I'm trying to get rid of. The thing is 199 quid. By cheaping out the benefit of using this device is almost cancelled out by itself. Ridiculous. Will you benefit from this device? Depends. It likely does what it says, as long as you can put up with the constant hot/burning plastic smell.

Fantastic Product. Has made a real difference at night time, I sufer badly from hayfever and used to wake up every morning with sore and clamy eyes. No probelems now I use this Air Purifier.
