Cheap and Cheerful (2008-03-06)

Although the dvd spec stipulates PAL T.V. settings I had to reset player to NTSC-so if you have a problem with that leave well alone.(I also had to return initial copy as first dvd would not be read at all, however fine when amazon replaced.) Second drawback is that throughout the entire 3 DVD package you have to put up with an intrusive garish border (stating the title; Bob Dylan Transmissions)which reduces the actual screen size significantly. You can get rid of it using the zoom function but the gain in quantity of picture is matched by subsequent reduction in quality.After all that the quality of the performances make this a bargain bootleg for the committed Dylan fan. The 3rd DVD is the Woodstock 94 set-even if you already have it like me (in better format) the remaining 2 DVDs are still worth the six quid. You get no information other than track title and even that is wrong on one occasion. I've been scouring my Dylan reference books to try and work out where they all come from. So far there is Letterman show-a really excellent "Don't start me talkin" -Farm aid-Maggie's Farm - sorry no time to list them all-maybe others can fill in the details but do investigate if you are bootleg tolerant.
