Very high quality but... (2008-05-03)

High quality construction but...I find it a little too heavy, a little too short, it doesn't trim the hair that short and it is too expensive for what it is. Also the plastic holder is too wimpy & the holder's top insecure. However, it is solid, will last several lifetimes, works well enough, needs no batteries, can be rinsed under the tap & towel dried & will not rust. It is a GREAT product, much better than those battery products with the corroded battery connections, but it there is room for improvement.

The best made grooming product I've ever bought (2008-04-24)

What a great little gadget. I already have a battery operated trimmer but it always feels like it's going to slice up my nostrils, and it's always with great trepidation that I stick it up my nose. No such worries with the Groom Mate as you're in complete control.At first I found that it plucked some hairs rather than cut them but that was because I stopped rotating it when withdrawing. Once I learned that lesson I didn't have a problem again and my eye's haven't watered since.As far as longevity is concerned it's beautifully machine turned from solid steel, and to very high tolerances too and I can see this lasting a life time. Just as well as the makers give a lifetime guarantee so they are certainly putting their money where their mouth is. I don't think they have anything to worry about however as you could run over it in a 38 tonne truck and I'm sure that apart from a few scratches it would still work perfectly.All in all a great little tool and a purchase you won't regret.

Well I was told that this little marvel was good, but I never really believed it was. It is not good, it is fantastic.I have been using a battery operated nose & ear trimmer for about 10 years now and then I tried this and it does the job so much better, AND I dont have to worry about batteries going flat half way through a trim. Also, I found that with the battery operated one, it tended to pull hairs out as they got stuck in the trimmer, this one does not give you that problem a you control the operation.My answer to this? 10/10 and worth every penny. Buy one, it will be money well spent (and no more batteries to have to purchase)

Excellent tool (2008-04-16)

This is my first nasal hair trimmer. It pretty much does what it says in the box: It removes hair from your nose and ears. It is pain-free and easy to clean. Definitely a must have.
