Steiff Alpaca 'Cinderella' Teddy Bear is an exquisite bear made from high quality alpaca in a warm cream colour. Cinderella is modelled on the character from the fairytale 'Cinderella' by the Brothers Grimm. This is the first bear in a new Steiff collectors series of 'Fairytales' which is dedicated to famous and beloved fairytale characters. Here Cinderella is a fully jointed bear with a small horizontally embroidered nose and black glass eyes that give her a lifelike character with a delightful expression. She can also stand alone thanks to the flat soles on her feet. Her clothes are ouststanding - she is wearing an enchanting gown just as she would when she appeared at the Royal Ball. Her blouse and bloomers are made of organza, her petticoat is made of raw silk. The resplendent overdress is also made of organza embroidered with silk. Her outfit is finished with a crowning achievement as she is wearing a delicate rose coloured cloak with raw silk embroidery and lining. On her left paw sits a small dove (5cm) made of the finest white alpaca that proudly spreads its tail feathers intricately made of three layers of felt. The little dove has a discreet airbrushed expression and gazes affectionately with his little black eyes towards Cinderella. Both Cinderella and the dove are surface washable.
